Radio The Way It Used To Be…

In the late 1960's AM radio was forced to move over for FM Stereo. These new stations brought new fidelity and 2 channel sound to mono radio. Thousands of them started to pop up everywhere. Electronics stores began selling AM to FM car converters as well as FM stereo tuners and sound systems. It was a broadcasting and musical revolution.

History Repeats...

It is happening again! FM radio, like AM long ago, can not offer the listener truly Independent - Alternative music. The reason for this is most U.S. terrestrial stations are programmed in six or seven American cities. We program our music in Dyersville, Iowa USA. Independent labels, indie and unsigned musicians send us their music. We check it out and if it meets our standards the music ends up on our playlists. This is how it used to be back in the early days of FM.
